| 11th Annual Madison Antiques Show and Sale Showcasing American Antqiues and Accessories. Southern Grace and Charm prevail in Madison with the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center’s annual Antique Show and Sale. Whether you are an avid collector or casual shopper,we invite you to the 11th annual Madison Antiques Show and Sale. Since its beginning, this show has brought quality dealers from far and wide to Madison, Georgia for three days of some of the finest and most fun antiques shopping available. Come browse the show floor, enjoy beautiful antiques, ask questions and get to know the dealers. We also invite you to attend one or both of this year’s free events – Friday morning, there will be an introduction to Persian and Oriental Rugs conducted by Tom O’Hara, a dealer and writer of antiques. His talk will focus on what to look for in buying rugs, how to determine age, grading condition adn authenticity. Saturday will be a discussion on furniture by C. Tracey Parks, Editor of the Art and Mystery of Tennessee Furniture, generally regarded as one of the leading authorities on early Southern Furniture. His talk, Tennessee Furniture: Mysteries Revisited will focus on his native home furniture and also Southern home furnishings.
